Wanted

Wanted
Author: J. Kenner

Description:
For fans of Fifty Shades of Grey, Bared to You, and Release Me comes an all-new erotic series of three enigmatic and powerful men, and the striking women who can bring them to their knees.

He is everything I crave, all I desperately want—and he is everything I can’t have.

Evan Black embodies my every fantasy. He is brilliant, fierce, and devastatingly handsome. But he is also headstrong, dangerous, and burdened with secrets.

My family warned me to stay away, that I could never handle Evan’s dark dealings or scarred past. Maybe I should have listened. Maybe I should have run. But our desire is undeniable, and some temptations you just can’t fight.

And from the moment we touch—the passion between us consuming us both—I know that I will never be the same.

Wanted is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.

Review:
First, I came upon Wanted through NetGalley and thought the cover was intriguing so I clicked on it to find out more. I've never read Fifty Shades of Grey, I hear that audible gasp…I'm planning on it after the movies come out just in case they suck and ruin the books for me, i.e. Twilight!! UGH!! No, no I will not rant about those terrible movies. But I have read Bared to You and thought I would give this a chance. I am very happy that I did. New to J. Kenner, I can't wait to see what the rest of the series has in store.

Angelina Raine has just lost the one person who knows all of her secrets and still loves her anyway. Ever since the death of her sister Angelina has changed from carefree and fun-loving Lina into responsible Angie. Evan Black has been in her life for years, and despite her love for him, he doesn't feel the same…or does he?

Evan Black loved and respected Angie's uncle Jahn, so when he warned him, Cole and Tyler to stay away from Angie, he obeyed. After years of yearning for Angie, he gets his chance to have her, if only for a few weeks. He plans on making sure that during those three weeks he makes sure that she knows that he owns her. Owns her in a way that she never forgets him and that any man who may come after him is never enough to satisfy her.

The character development was well done and I never felt during the book that I wanted to skip a chapter because it was dragging. There is sex but it isn't overly explicit or out of place so it works well in the story. I definitely enjoyed the story and look forward to reading Heated about Tyler and Sloane available May 13th.
