Werewolf in Alaska by Vicki Lewis Thompson

Holy crap! I have had this review on my phone for a year! Scatterbrained and totally thought this review was completed already. I have no clue where this review went but here it is. So sorry about that!!

Werewolf in Alaska
Vicki Lewis Thompson

It all started with a wood carving

When Jake bought Rachel's first wood carving, it gave her the confidence to quit her veterinarian internship and pursue her passion for wood carving. Now a successful carver, Rachel is living her dream. Alone. She's tried internet dating, but none have caught her eye like the mysterious Jake Hunter. And it doesn't help that he skinny dips almost every night.

When a mother bear and her cub stumble onto Rachel's property, Jake must shift to save her. Hurt in the rescue, Rachel takes in the wounded wolf and nurses him back to health despite his multiple attempts to leave.

Jake has an undeniable attraction to Rachel, one that would indicate that she was his soulmateif she were another werewolf. Jake is firmly against mating with a human as it could mean the downsizing of their pack.

When attraction and passion are high, can anyone deny it?

Enjoy!

Tempting His Mate by Savannah Stuart

Tempting His Mate
Savannah Stuart

Ella Hayes wants to get as far away from her pack as possible. Her sister blindsided her by deciding to not only mate with Ella's ex but also have a wedding with him. And she had been feeling kind of restless so she decided to move to Gulf Shores, Alabama and join her cousin Lauren's wolf pride.

Asher Kincaid has been living the life of a lone wolf for quite some time now. After letting down his mate, over a hundred years ago, he felt like he didn't deserve to be an Alpha let alone find someone to mate with again. That was until he met Ella. Something about her was different, he had never felt that way before. Too bad she had skipped out on him after a night of nonstop sex while he was in the shower.

Ella thought she would never see Asher again, he was her first and only attempt at having a wild night before starting her new life in Gulf Shores. So she was completely taken by surprise when Asher is not only joining the Kincaid pack but also the cousin of Grant Kincaid the Alpha. And to make matters even worse, they are going to be working together in the same place. Despite how her body reacts to him, she tells him "if you want me again, you have to work for it". And work for it, he has every intention to.

When an possible threat to her safety arises, Asher will stop at nothing to keep her safe. She is his, he just needs for her to see that. Will she see that they belong together? Or will she allow her past to cloud her future?

This was my first experience reading anything from Savannah Stuart who writes under her real name of Katie Reus. This is book 3 in the series but even if you haven’t read the others you will not get lost. I loved that this was focused on Ella and Asher and I didn’t feel lost knowing that I was behind two books. The chemistry was amazing between the characters and was sad that I was getting close to the end. I wish it were a full length novel instead of a novella and I hope to see more of them in future novellas. I will definitely be checking out book 4 "Saving His Mate" and then going back for books 1 & 2.

Enjoy!

Once Upon A Dream by Kate Perry

**Sexy Cover**

Summer Welles wants the fairy tale.
The illegitimate daughter of Reginald Summerhill, the Earl of Amberlin, she listened to her mother’s stories about the Summerhill girls all her life. In her mind, Summer was part of the stories too—living in the castle, wearing fancy dresses, and falling in love with Prince Charming.
Her wish came true. Mostly. She lives in the Summerhill mansion. She has stepsisters—nice ones who don’t make her clean the chimney. She even has a magical wedding dress waiting for her special day. The only thing missing is the perfect man.
She knows exactly who he is, and she’s going to confront him at the annual Midnight Masquerade Ball. What Summer didn’t count on was mistaking a masked frog for her prince.
Once she kisses the mysterious man, he won’t go away. And he’s not sweet or charming or princely. He seems more interested in ravishing her rather than riding off into the sunset with her, and—worse—she’s tempted to let him.
Her fairy tale at stake, Summer’s faced with her own quest that neither frog nor prince can rescue her from: sacrifice her Happily Ever After, or turn her back on the one man who makes her feel alive?
**Having read the previous books in the series, I was highly anticipating this one. With that said here is the review. Review copy provided in exchange for HONEST review**

Summer Welles, is the illegitimate child of Reginald Summerhill, however she is loved by not only her six sisters but by their mother Jacqueline Summerhill, the Countess of Amberlin and the wife Reginald cheated on. Jacqueline counts Summer as one of her daughters and would do anything for her. Summer knows her Prince Charming Ryan Huber, she has plans to marry him...only problem is that she has never actually spoken to him and he has a girlfriend. She knows that if she kisses him, that he will realize that he loves her and that they need to be together. Now she just needs the setting for this magical life-changing kiss, the Midnight Masquerade Ball. So she enlists the help of her sisters and Jacqueline to get her in Prince Charming catching mode.

“I’m picking out her dress, of course. I'm thinking a mermaid green, something magical.”
~Rosalind Summerhill

Jon Smith (yes that really is his name) is looking to get out the business. He has the island home already purchased all that's left is to pay off the debt he owes to his friend Edward Bradley. From the moment he saw Summer, he was intrigued. She was wearing all black clothes but had a colorful scarf, he was wondering which was real, the all black or the colorful. He figured she was the fiancee of the man his friend needs help with. Edward Bradley believes that Ryan is scamming his clients out of money and needs Jon's help to prove it.

The bright gypsy scarf didn't belong on someone that sensible. It made him wonder which part of her was the lie. Everyone wore a disguise—he knew that better than anyone.
Maybe she should kiss him again and see if he turned into a prince.

Truthfully, she just wanted to kiss him again.

As soon as she walked in Jon was drawn to her, and Summer thought that was Ryan. She knew instantly that was her Prince. The kiss just made it certain, he was definitely the one. Only he wasn't Ryan.

Jon is no Prince Charming. He's more like the antichrist."
"You wouldn't have slept with the antichrist."
"I didn't mean to sleep with him."
"Didn't you say you initiated it?"
She groaned. "Did you have to remind me?"

After finding out that the man she kissed was not Ryan but Jon, and finding out what Jon's business with Ryan was she insisted on helping. Not to prove that Ryan was guilty but to prove the man she plans to marry is innocent. Only is he really her prince charming? Or is she beauty and in love with the beast?

"Are you going to change the ending?"
"I don't know how."
"Well that's not a problem. "That's what wine and sisters are for."
